What's in the box?

  • CD-ROM
  • CD Case
  • Manual

Here it is, the one that started it all. Warcraft: Orcs & Humans is the first in a series which has spanned over 20 years. Made by Blizzard after they changed name from Silicon & Synapse, Warcraft saw solid reviews and helped boost the beginning of the RTS boom. The game itself was packaged in the old style "big box" that most PC games saw before DVD cases became the norm. This was a carry over effect from older games that shipped with many discs and larger manuals.

As you would expect from Blizzard in the 90's the manual is fantastic. Although printed in black & white, it is loaded with story details, key game information, beautifully drawn images and even a map. I have included quite a few images so you can get an idea for yourself of what manuals were like when you couldn't look them up online.
